In this 1.5 hour "Self-Care for Summer" Ayurveda Wellness Workshop, you'll:

  • Learn how to wisely approach your diet to keep cool, build immunity that will carry you through fall and winter, and reduce the effects of excess heat - including rash, fatigue, inflammation, early greying, irritation, acne, headache and more

  • Learn simple yet subtly powerful practices from Ayurveda and yoga for temperature regulation and calming the fire that naturally gets higher in us in summer

  • Replace unconscious habits with intentional ones that allow you to maximize your strength and energy levels so that you can fully optimize your summer

  • Learn easy kitchen remedies for common summer complaints and problems

  • Access vitality, energy – and balance you did not realise you had, that you can carry forward into the rest of your year!

As the seasons change, how we operate is meant to change too.

The more we understand the seasonal shifts and how they can imbalance us, the more we can pro-actively counter that. And be creators in a healthier body and mind that feels better, for longer.

Like many people (maybe you too?!) - I'm a lover of the sun - a lover of summer!

As lovely as the warmth and the sun are, the heat takes a toll on the body, hair, and skin. Think of how the hot sun affects the soil and earth - making them dry and cracked. Making life - flowers, plants, trees - break down faster.

Without intentional self-care in summer, that heat can also impact us. It can increase the heat in the mind (think frustration, irritation), emotions (easy to anger, snappy), and body (dehydration, inflammation, dryness, early greying, early wrinkling, and more), leading to imbalances that develop into more complex and serious issues later on.

The Ayurveda approach to holistic health and balanced living varies by season so we can:

Preserve our health and graceful aging

Prevent illness and disease that arise as a result of excess heat and inflammation

And improve our longevity - leading us toward a longer life in which we feel great
